The General Division of construction materials at General Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce, Held expanded meeting to discuss problems of traders in the presence of Mohamed shawky, Head of tax operations and Mohamed Mattar, Head of Central Administration to guide registrants, Ragab Mahrous, General Director of tax research and Muhammad Abdullah, General Director of the Tax guidance office at Cairo Chamber as representatives of the General Tax Authority and a large number of Division’s members.

Ahmed Alzeiny, Cairo Chamber’s Board member and head of General Division of construction materials demanded that Traders need facilities in tax accounting, especially that most of them do not have regular books and the Authority should collect the taxes from sources to include everyone especially that there is a difference in tax accounting now.

Muhammad Shawqy confirmed that the Authority currently seeks to form a data base reflecting  the reality through entering  the informal economy into the formal system, saying " traders have many rights from the Authority  and helping us get real data leads to taking such rights and being fair,” noting that the data we are seeking now targeting producers and importers, wholesalers and retailers to complete the base system, stressing that the Authority  is making awareness campaigns, which intensely continuing during the next phase.Bottom of Form
