Cairo Chamber signs MoU with Syrian businessmen

Cairo Chamber of Commerce signed a memorandum of understanding, with

 

Syrians businessmen and investors. Mr. Ali Shoukry, Cairo Chamber’s vice

 

chairman and Mr. Khaldoun El Mawqaa, head of the Syrian delegation, signed

 

the MoU in the presence of a number of Cairo Chamber’s Board of Directors

 

and members of business divisions of various commercial activities.

 

 

 

Cairo Chamber decided to host the meetings of Syrian businessmen and

 

investors during the coming period to attract more investment to the local

 

market, increase trade, open new markets for the exchange of products

 

between the two countries, and promote economic relations between them.

 

 

 

Mr. Shoukry said that the memorandum of understanding was signed on

 

the basis of the common desire between Cairo Chamber of Commerce, and

 

the Syrian Businessmen Assembly in Egypt, which is the representative for

 

Syrians businessmen and investors in Egypt, to develop the economic

 

relationship, increase coordination and exchange of trade between Egypt and

 

Syria.

 

 

 

Mr. Khaldoun confirmed that solving the problems that hinder the increase of

 

trade exchange between Egypt and Syria should be solved, and forming a joint

 

committee for exhibition center between the two countries to increase

 

the number of exhibitions in Egypt and Syria. He invited Egyptian businessmen

 

to visit Syria as soon as possible to solve the problems and obstacles that stand

 

in the way of the flow of trade between the two countries.
