The Cairo Chamber of Commerce and the Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce have signed a cooperation deal to increase trade exchange between Egypt and Brazil in the coming period.

 

Deputy Chairman of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce Ali Shoukry said the prtocol is meant to increase the volume of trade exchange between the two countries and attract more Brazilian investments to the Egyptian market.

 

Delegations from both countries are expected to exchange visits in the coming period to get acquainted with investment opportunities on the Egyptian and Brazilian markets, he noted.

 

Shoukry called on Brazilian businessmen to make use of investment opportunities and facilities provided by the Egyptian government.

 

Meanwhile, President of the Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce Rubens Hannun praised historical relations between Egypt and Brazil.

 

The protocol is of great importance as it will help boost cooperation between the two countries and facilitate access of products to the Egyptian and Brazilian markets, he noted.

 

Hannun invited members of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce to take part in a fair that will be held in Brazil in May.The Cairo Chamber also made office space available for the Arab Chamber to use during trips to Egypt, as well as its state-of-the-art 450 seat auditorium for the Brazilian organization to hold events in.
