Cairo Chamber of Commerce Agreed with the Embassy of Portugal to receive

a high-level delegation of the Portuguese businessmen during the month of

May; to discuss available investment opportunities in Egypt in various fields,

especially in the light of Egypt’s encouragement to investors through special

incentives during the current period.

This came during a visit, “Madalena Fisher " the Portuguese Ambassador to

Cairo Chamber; for discussing the ways of strengthening economic ties and

the establishing joint investments between the two countries in the next phase.

Ali Shoukry, Vice Chairman of Cairo Chamber, said explained the investment

climate in Egypt, stressing that it is good and there are many available

investment opportunities of which, Portuguese businessmen can take

advantage, such as renewable energy, agriculture, textiles, electrical appliances

and logistics projects in the axis of the Suez Canal and Multiple opportunities to

be placed on the table of the Portuguese delegation, that is expected to visit

Egypt next may to choose what suits them or through a partnership, which

would benefit the economies of both countries.
