Cairo Chamber of Commerce received the Ambassador of Uruguay in Cairo Juan José Di Sevo Moreno , to discuss the arrangements for an extensive meeting between a delegation of businessmen accompanying the president of Uruguay during his visit to Cairo at the end of May, and their Egyptian counterparts.

Ahmed Al-Zeiny, Cairo Chamber‘s board member said during this meeting at Cairo Chamber that the goal of this meeting is to increase the relations between the two countries in various fields, particularly with regard to the joint investment, in the light of the available investment opportunities in the Egypt, which The Uruguayan side can benefit from either on the Suez Canal or other projects in different cities, including agriculture and livestock, according to the instructions of  President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi during the recent period.

He stressed that Egypt has investment opportunities in all projects, whether in agriculture, industry or trade, and the Chamber is clarifying to all economic bodies in different countries. He pointed out that the Cairo Chamber will provide all data on investment opportunities on the local market for the delegation of the Uruguayan businessmen who will visit Egypt at the end of this month, noting that a meetings will be organized between the two sides to discuss the ways of cooperation that will result in increasing trade and investment exchange between the two countries.

The ambassador said that the delegation accompanying the president consists of a number of businessmen, owners of major companies in various activities, pointing out that among the delegation are specialists in dairy products , livestock and fish, in addition to the field of renewable energy and food and there is an agreement between Egypt and Paraguay signed in 2015., that should be activated, including the means of cooperation in various activities .
