Director of Cairo Chamber‘s Retail Academy: Rationalizing imports and encouraging small projects is the way for reviving the economy

Mr. Atef Saad, Director General of Cairo Chamber ‘s Retail Academy, said that the Egyptian economy needs for  rationalizing imports except necessities, which results in  developing the local industry and open the door for exportation again.

 

He added that it is necessary for the country to start encouraging the small and medium industries that contribute to the rise of Egyptian industry again by providing raw materials for the industry, which brings hard currency and raises the cash reserve.

 

about the role and goals of Retail Academy  he said that it has been created since 2009 and aims to transform traditional commerce to e-commerce and targeting small traders category .it  was established in cooperation with the Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and after establishing  the Academy started four training programs that include computer courses and sales  skills and other basic programs in the business side but now includes  23 training programs courses on various e- commerce fields
