Protocol of cooperation between Cairo Chamber and Uruguay to increase trade and investment exchange

Cairo Chamber of Commerce signed a joint cooperation protocol with the Uruguay XXI agency in Uruguay, which aims at increasing trade and investment between Egypt and Uruguay in the coming period

 

 

This came during a meeting of a delegation of Cairo Chamber’s board members with  the Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries, "Tabare Agiri", Juan Jose de Cebu, Ambassador of the Republic of Uruguay and "Pablo Pereira," Director of Export Promotion Department, Uruguay XXI.

 

 

This comes on the background of the visit of Dr. "Tabaree Pathquith" President of the Republic of Uruguay to Cairo.

 

 

Tariq Al-Sallab, Vice-President of Cairo Chamber, said that this visit is an opportunity to consolidate the concepts of mutual trade relations and cooperation in the various commercial and economic sectors between the two countries

 

 

The minister said that after the visit, the talks will be intensified with the Egyptian Ministry of Agriculture to develop relations between the two countries in many fields, including agriculture and live animals, noting that the cooperation between the two countries is not enough for the distinguished location of Egypt and its large consumer market, to benefit from the agreement between the two countries and to expand the scope of the economy between them, especially as one of the most important objectives of this agreement is to facilitate the import and export operations.
