Eng. Ibrahim El-Araby, Vice-President of the General Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Chairman of Cairo Chamber, praised the directives of President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi regarding the problem of rising fish prices during the past period, which led the government to take measures to limit this increase and even lead to lower prices..

Ahmed Jaafar, head of the fish division at Cairo Chamber of Commerce, said that the government's response to the demands of the division is an important step towards controlling fish prices in the coming period. Fish prices have now declined after the increase in supply following the recent government measures and the interest in increasing the production of lakes, which increases the supply and thus lower prices.

He expected that the prices of fish will fall again starting from September, because of new lakes production, which will lead to increased supply and then reduced prices.
