Minister of Trade and Industry Eng. Tareq Qabil affirmed Egypt's keenness to support communication and enhance joint cooperation with West African countries in general and Burkina Faso in particular, which will contribute in enhancing bilateral relations and opening new horizons for cooperation based on mutual benefit for all parties. Pointing to the need for activating and deepening economic and trade relations and exploring new areas of cooperation and also adopting initiatives that promote trade activities and joint investments between business communities in both countries.
Qabil pointed out that the Ministry of Trade and Industry pays great attention to the South-South cooperation model, which is one of the most important models of international development cooperation, which is more open and inclusive and promotes mutual cooperation. He explained the need for accelerating holding the meetings of the third joint committee between Egypt and Burkina Faso, to activate the pace of joint economic and social action.
This came in a speech delivered by the minister during the activities of the Egyptian-Burkina Business Forum, organized by the General Federation of Investors and attended by Burkina Faso's President Roch Marc Christian Kabore, as well as participating a number of ministers from Burkina Faso.
