Beginning of “Going for import “program

In the light of the State's tendency to improve the companies working in the field of imports due to its importance and effective role in the Egyptian economy, Eng. Ibrahim El Araby, Cairo Chamber’s Chairman and Vice-President of the General Federation of Chambers of Commerce, and Eng. Ali Shoukry, Cairo Chamber’s Vice Chairman inaugurate activities of  “Going for import” Program.

 

 

Shoukry said that the Chamber will cooperate with all parties concerned in advancing the future of Egyptian economy. Therefore he has confirmed that the Chamber will adopt the training courses provided to the importers in “Going for import” Program.

 

The Program enables the trader to obtain the certificate of import practice based on Law No. (7) For the year 2017 on amending the provisions of Law No. 121 of 1982 regarding registration in the importers registry.

 

He stated that going for import “Program lasts for 5 days about 5 hours a day (Sunday to Thursday). The program aims at defining the importation, its importance, its most important components, its elements and steps, and introducing the most important laws and legislations dealing with importation.

 

The Chamber offers these courses through Retail Academy, which employs the most qualified lecturers and provides all training facilities for a model service to the Egyptian importer.
