The delegation of Egyptian leather businessmen on the sidelines of their official visit to Italy, which took several days tour within the International Micam exhibition, which was held on the grounds of international exhibitions in Italy to identify the latest fashion in leather and shoes, accompanied by representatives of the biggest Italian companies in the pavilions of the exhibition.

The meetings with the Italian side resulted in the response of the heads of companies and the owners of the Italian factories to cooperate with the Egyptian side to provide all the support and facilities like transfer of experience and technology to the Egyptian factories in the new leather city on the 10th of Ramadan, Pointing out that the joint cooperation with the Italian side will be a strong starting point to 110 new factories for leather products and footwear for the world market and export in a high intensity and high quality. The members of the Egyptian delegation expressed their admiration for what they saw of the development and modernization in the field of equipment, machinery and designs in the field of leather and shoes.
