Cairo Chamber of Commerce announced the start of the project of improving the energy efficiency of lighting and household appliances under the umbrella of the Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energy in cooperation with the United Nations Development Organization (UNDP). The campaign aims at organizing the "card energy efficiency" campaign in the governorates of Cairo and Giza.

The topics of the second lecture program "energy efficiency card":

- General introduction on electricity in Egypt.

- Electricity consumption in electrical appliances and lighting in different sectors (houses, commercial and governmental buildings)

- Electricity tariff for the domestic sector with its different segments.

- Electricity bill calculation method.

It is worth mentioning that the training program is free of charge for sales workers at the outlets selling electrical appliances to provide information on Contents and usefulness of the energy efficiency card attached to those devices.
