An invitation from the Egyptian Federation of Customs Brokers, in cooperation with the Center of Excellence at the General Organization for Export and Import Control, to attend a workshop on:
“Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) for Major Industrial Sectors and Export Requirements to European Markets.”

 

The workshop aims to enable exporting companies and technical professionals responsible for environmental compliance and sustainability in the sectors of steel, fertilizers, aluminum, and cement to efficiently meet the requirements of the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism.

 

This will be achieved through:

  • Understanding the legislative and regulatory framework of CBAM
  • Learning the requirements for applying the mechanism to exported products destined for the European market
  • Accurately calculating embedded carbon emissions based on approved methodologies
  • Ensuring companies are prepared to provide accurate and reliable data
  • Properly preparing CBAM reports in compliance with disclosure and verification requirements
  • Reducing risks of non-compliance and avoiding additional financial burdens
