Under the patronage of Mr. Ayman El Ashry, Chairman of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, the Abroad Employment Companies Division at the Chamber discussed a number of proposals related to the new Labor Law draft during its latest meeting, which was held to address current challenges and ways to support and develop the sector.

Mr. Mounir El Masry, Chairman of the Division, explained that the meeting included the presentation of the Division members’ views and observations regarding certain articles of the law, in a manner that reflects the needs of overseas employment companies and contributes to strengthening their role during the coming phase.

He pointed out that the Division intends to prepare a memorandum including the most important proposals and recommendations, in preparation for submitting it to Mr. Ayman El Ashry, Chairman of the Chamber, with the aim of coordinating a meeting with the Minister of Labor, Mr. Hassan Raddad, to discuss these views and explore mechanisms for developing the sector.

Mr. Mounir El Masry emphasized that the Division is consistently keen on maintaining communication with its members, monitoring their demands, and conveying them to the relevant authorities through the Chamber of Commerce, in a way that supports the sector’s economic and social development.

He also stressed the importance of studying all proposals comprehensively to help companies keep pace with modern developments and achieve the public interest.
