As part of its commitment to the effective management of its financial resources, the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, headed by Mr. Ayman El Ashry, held a meeting chaired by Major General Salah El Abd, Treasurer of the Chamber, with representatives from several public and private sector banks to review proposals for investing the Chamber's deposits, with the aim of maximising financial returns and further enhancing the services provided to its members.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Mohamed Tammam, Secretary General of the Chamber, along with a number of the Chamber's executive leaders and staff members.

Major General Salah El Abd stated that the meeting was held in accordance with the directives of the Chamber's Board of Directors, chaired by Mr. Ayman El Ashry, to maximise returns on the Chamber's financial resources in support of the continued development of its services and activities, in line with Egypt Vision 2030.

He added that the Chamber adheres to the highest standards of transparency and impartiality in evaluating the banks' proposals based on clearly defined financial and technical criteria, ensuring the selection of the most competitive offer. The meeting also reviewed the proposed deposit management mechanisms and interest rates before identifying the proposal that delivers the greatest value and further strengthens the Chamber's financial resource management.
