Cairo Chamber of Commerce Participates in the 15th Kuwaiti Week in Cairo to Strengthen Economic Cooperation between Egypt and Kuwait

Under the patronage of Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister of Egypt, the event was inaugurated on his behalf by Engineer Mohamed Sheimi, Minister of Public Enterprises. It was also attended by Dr. Sherif Farouk, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade, Dr. Ibrahim Saber, Governor of Cairo, and the Kuwaiti Ambassador to Cairo, Saqr Al-Ghanim.

 

 

the 15th Kuwaiti Week in Cairo commenced on December 3. The event, in which the Cairo Chamber of Commerce participated under the leadership of Mr. Ayman Ashry and the presence of Major General Salah Al-Abd, Cairo Chamber ’s Treasurer, Dr. Naglaa Al-Naggar, and Mr. Mohamed Mahran, both members of the chamber’s board, was held under the theme "Kuwait in Egypt" and brought together sectors such as investment, industry, culture, media, and tourism.

 

 

During the opening ceremony, Mr. Ayman Ashry emphasized the importance of this event as a catalyst for enhancing Egyptian-Kuwaiti cooperation across various economic fields. He highlighted that organizing this week under the auspices of the Prime Minister and with the presence of key ministers and officials from both countries sends a strong message about the depth of bilateral relations. It also reflects Egypt's unprecedented development under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, paving the way for new avenues of joint collaboration.

 

 

The Chamber President noted that this event underscores the historically exceptional relationship between the two nations and contributes to fostering economic and cultural cooperation between Egypt and Kuwait. He also pointed out that the Cairo Chamber of Commerce had participated in the 14th Kuwaiti Week last year, reaffirming its commitment to supporting initiatives that aim to strengthen bilateral economic ties.

 

 

The Kuwaiti Week in Cairo continues for three days, with the participation of leading investors and business owners from both countries across diverse sectors, including industry, oil, banking, healthcare, tourism, media, and culture. This contributes to bolstering economic and cultural connections between Egypt and Kuwait.
