The meeting was attended by Major General Salah Al-Abd, Treasurer of the Cairo Chamber, Mr. Said Abu Al-Qumsan, Board Member of the Chamber, and Major General Ismail Jaber, Board Member of the Chamber.

The two sides discussed ways to strengthen joint cooperation by increasing mutual visits between business leaders in Egypt and Jordan, and addressing any obstacles faced by the business communities in both countries.

In this context, Mr. Ayman Ashry emphasized the importance of holding regular bilateral meetings between businessmen from both countries across various trade and investment sectors to identify challenges and facilitate cooperation. He pointed out that the Egyptian government offers a favorable environment for investors by easing market entry procedures and providing access to available opportunities.

Ashry added, "We are working diligently to increase production in various sectors to meet the needs of international markets, especially within the framework of the presidential initiative to increase Egyptian exports to $100 billion annually. We are also ready to cooperate with the Jordanian side to identify any challenges they may face when entering the Egyptian market, and to resolve them in coordination with the relevant authorities."

Furthermore, Mr. Ashry noted that the Cairo Chamber of Commerce is studying the possibility of signing a cooperation protocol with the Jordan and Amman Chamber of Industry to address any obstacles faced by businessmen in both countries and to open new avenues for joint cooperation.

On his part, Mr. Fathi Al-Jaghbeer, Chairman of the Jordan and Amman Chamber of Industry, stated that the visit represents a new beginning for enhancing cooperation between the two chambers, reflecting the deep historical and cultural ties between Egypt and Jordan. He added that the goal of the visit is to strengthen economic cooperation by leveraging the trade and investment opportunities available in both countries.

Mr. Al-Jaghbeer explained that the visit would serve as the starting point for future reciprocal visits between business leaders from Egypt and Jordan, aimed at exploring ways to increase trade and investment cooperation. He emphasized the importance of identifying challenges that the Jordanian side might face in the Egyptian market and sending them to the Cairo Chamber to facilitate necessary procedures.

The Chairman of the Cairo Chamber concluded by reaffirming that both sides will continue to work together to overcome challenges and expand the scope of trade and investment cooperation, thereby serving the interests of both countries and contributing to a significant development in their bilateral economic relations.
