These efforts contribute to joint development and investment at both regional and international levels.
He added that the forum represents a practical step toward strengthening Egyptian–Syrian relations. It seeks to reinforce cooperation between the chambers of commerce of both countries and explore opportunities in trade, industry, services, infrastructure, and reconstruction. The forum also aims to establish Syrian–Egyptian–European alliances and support the expansion of Syrian exports to African markets, thereby promoting Arab economic integration and joint investment opportunities.
Mr. El-Ashry highlighted that discussions covered vital sectors such as energy, transport, logistics, infrastructure, agriculture, and the rehabilitation of idle factories. The forum also included the exchange of Egyptian expertise in developing new cities, industrial zones, logistics centers, highways, bridges, tunnels, and ports.
