Cairo Chamber of Commerce Discusses New Cooperation with Banks to Develop Member Services

The Cairo Chamber of Commerce, chaired by Mr. Ayman El-Ashry, held an expanded meeting through its Banking Committee with several public and private banks to discuss new areas of cooperation aimed at developing services for Chamber members.

 

The meeting was chaired by Major General Salah El-Abd, Treasurer of the Chamber and Head of the Banking Committee, and was attended by Mr. Ihab Said, Member of the Chamber’s Board of Directors and the Banking Committee. Mr. Mohamed Tammam, Secretary-General and Head of the Chamber’s Executive Authority, also took part, along with senior executive officials of the Chamber.

 

During the meeting, Major General Salah El-Abd explained that the Chamber works on a regular basis with all banks awarded tenders to achieve the highest possible returns on the Chamber’s deposits. He emphasized that the meeting was conducted with full transparency and that all participating banks were given equal opportunity. He also noted that the meeting outcomes are submitted to Mr. Ayman El-Ashry, Chairman of the Chamber, who closely follows up on the results.

 

For his part, Mr. Ihab Said stated that the Chamber aims to maximize returns on its deposits in a way that supports the development of services provided to members across different sectors while expanding and diversifying services to better meet their needs.

 

The Banking Committee continues to hold regular meetings to explore further cooperation opportunities with both public and private sector banks as part of efforts to strengthen the service system and enhance benefits for Chamber members.
