The Cairo Chamber of Commerce, under the leadership of Mr. Ayman El-Eshry, has achieved a new milestone by ranking first among all chambers across the Republic in training and qualifying exporters and importers during 2025. This distinction was achieved through the “Traders Training Academy,” which implemented intensive training programs for practicing import and export activities.

Statistics issued by the Chamber revealed that the Academy successfully trained 2,988 trainees, distributed as follows:

  • Export Sector: Training of 1,674 exporters through 21 training groups.

  • Import Sector: Training of 1,314 importers through 18 training groups.

With these results, the Cairo Chamber of Commerce outperformed all other governorate chambers, with the Alexandria Chamber ranking second, followed by the chambers of Giza, Sharkia, and Dakahlia.

Mr. Ayman El-Eshry stated that the Chamber places training at the top of its priorities, emphasizing that the Traders Training Academy is the cornerstone for enhancing the skills of Chamber members. He also affirmed that the Academy has not limited itself to in-person training, but has expanded to offer online training programs, in order to facilitate access for the largest possible number of beneficiaries and keep pace with the rapid changes in global trade. This approach ensures that Egyptian exporters and importers are well-equipped to compete effectively in international markets.
