（ WICO Summit 2016） will be held in China from 28th to 29th, October, 2016. This session will be co-hosted by China Federation of Industrial Economics (CFIE), United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), United Nations Global Compact, The Development Research Center of the State Council (DRC) of China and Chinese Academy of Engineering. 

This two-day WICO Summit was successfully convened in 2004, 2006, 2008 and 2013 respectively, and attracted a great number of representatives form world business community, including representatives from more than 40 countries, and top leaders from China, United Nations and other countries. 

The theme of WICO Summit 2016 is “Join Hands to Shape a World Economic Community of Common Destiny”, and the topics involved are as follows: “Embrace the New Industrial Revolution, Promote World Economic Development”; “Enhance Communication and Cooperation, Share the Development Opportunities Presented by One Belt One Road Initiative”, etc.
