FICCI with the support of Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, is organizing the next edition of ‘Namaskar Africa’ at Algeria from February 12-13, 2017.
"Namaskar Africa" is a flagship regional business initiative of FICCI in partnership with Government of India, Regional Economic Councils of Africa, African Business Associations, African Chambers of Commerce, Investment Promotion agencies and other important stakeholders.
Over the years ‘Namaskar Africa’ has established itself as a premier business networking platform for industry leaders from India and across Africa catering to trade, investment and technology transfer requirements.
It has contributed significantly and added tremendous value proposition to the economic engagements between the two sides. After very successful editions in East, West and Southern region of Africa, this year Namaskar Africa is slated to be held in Algeria catering to the need of businesses in Northern African region.
The key components of Namaskar Africa at Algeria will include:
1. 2 day exhibition: Showcasing best of products, services and technologies.
2. 1 day international Business Forum: enriching business sessions with industry leaders, government officials, regulators and other important stakeholders highlighting the upcoming investment opportunities/ projects in various sectors of mutual interest.
3. Focused B2B meetings over 2 days - as per the request/interest of companies
4. Pre-scheduled B2G meetings: call on’s to Ministers/ Senior government officials as per the interest of companies
The focus sectors of Namaskar Africa include: agriculture & food processing (i/c machinery, equipments, seeds, insecticides, pesticides etc.); building, construction & public works; computers and office automation; printing and packaging; Automotives and spare parts, equipments, services & maintenance for automotive and industrial vehicles; electric & electronic devices; healthcare, pharmaceuticals & medical equipments; textiles & clothing; ICT; mining and minerals; Energy (renewable & non-renewable energy); water and waste water management.
