Having exported 1.7 billion dollar worth goods to 135 countries and being expected to grow by 10% in
2012, Turkish Yarn Industry will showcase its strength at 10th International Istanbul Yarn Fair with
the participation of significant companies around the world. Fair is going to be held between
May 29th – June 1st, 2013 in Tuyap Fair, Exhibition and Congress Center, Istanbul.
Standing out with its gradually-increasing significance in Eurasia, 10thInternational Istanbul Yarn Fair
gathers more than 150 companies from 12 countries under one roof. This year’s edition provides a wide
range of yarn products such as cotton, viscose, acrylic, wool, polyesters, polypropylene, polyamid,
filament, linen, silk that are prevalently used by textile and garment industry. As well as having
the fashion shaping products of 2014-2015 trends, ecological yarns, that have put a firm stamp on
world’s fashion & garment industry in last 10 years, will be also exhibited in the fair. Yarns made by
bamboo & soybean fibres, organic cotton, recycled, hazardious chemicals freematerials will be available
to visiting in hall 5 and 6.
2012 edition drew a great interest by attracting 37,747 professional visitors from 78 countries with
co-located fairs, ITM Texpo Eurasia and Hightex. Aiming to create new export opportunities
to the industry in Eurasia where world’s top 5 biggest cotton manufacturer countries are located,
10th International Istanbul Yarn Fair is expected to have large turnout by the textile and garment
industry.
10th International Istanbul Yarn Fair will be open to visiting between May 29th and 31st, from 10:00 to
19:00 and from 10:00 to 18:00 in June 1st, 2013. Same as it was in last year, 10th International Istanbul
Yarn Fair once again will be concurrently held with Itm Texpo Eurasia 2013, 30th International Textile,
Weaving, Spinning, Finishing, Knitting, Hosiery Machines, Related Industries & Chemicals Fair, and
Hightex 2013, 5th International Technical Textiles & Non-Woven Fair.
