The Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce will hold the Brazilian Festival marketing week from September 6 to 9, in Egypt. The initiative has the support of Brazil’s embassy in Cairo.

Brazilian companies that will participate should be from the foodstuffs, cosmetics, footwear and apparel sectors “It’s a great opportunity for companies to exhibit their products over there, since we’re very close of the signing of the free trade agreement between Mercosur and Egypt, which can open new routes to Brazilian companies. Egypt’s economy is going strong right now and we need to be aware to enter the market”, Michel Alaby , the Executive and CEO of the Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce said

The executive also underscores the good relations between the two countries and says that this can benefit sales of Brazilian products. “Egypt and Brazil have very strong economic ties. It’s also a good idea to exhibit (Brazilian products) and strengthen the cultural ties through other events, such as Brazilian food tastings”, he added.

In addition to the marketing of Brazilian products, the Brazilian companies participating in the Brazilian Festival will have meetings with Egyptian importers scheduled according to their exporting profiles.
