During an emergency meeting Cairo Chamber’s general Assembly discusses the implications of the decisions and the monetary policies on the trade market

Cairo Chamber of Commerce, called its General Assembly for an emergency meeting on Monday to discuss the implications of recent decisions concerning the entire business community, including importation and monetary policies and their impacts on the prices of goods in various activities said Ali Shoukry, Vice chairman of the chamber.

 

Cairo Chamber of Commerce Receives on Monday a delegation from the Divisions of importers and housewares to discuss the harm from the recent decisions of the Ministry of Industry and foreign trade, including the decisions, "991 992 for the year 2015” on the pre-shipment examination “, 43 for 2016" on registration of factories supplied to the local market in General Authority for exports and imports.

 

Ali Shoukry Vice Chairman of the Chamber Said that the meeting will discuss the impact of these decisions on the market and the extent of harm on traders and importers on the ground and receiving theirs suggestions.

 

Shoukry added that  a memorandum will be Raised to the concerned authorities, including the presidency of the republic especially that in the previous meeting held by the Chamber on this matter several months ago a memorandum of problems and proposals for solutions  had been raised but there is no positive response,  therefore Cairo Chamber  will resort to the Presidency of the Republic to defend the rights of its  traders and  importers  besides other  memoranda will be submitted to all other parties, including the General Federation of  Egyptian Chambers of Commerce and the Ministry of Industry and Foreign trade .
