Cairo Chamber of Commerce met a Brazilian delegation on Wednesday to discuss improving economic relations and boosting volume of Egyptian exports to Brazil within the upcoming period.

 

 

The Brazilian delegation was headed by the CEO of Promotion Operations Sector for Middle East and North Africa at  the Ministry of Brazilian Foreign Affairs and First Secretary of Brazil Embassy to Cairo.

 

 

Cairo Chamber’s Vice-Chairman, Ali Shoukry confirmed that the Egyptian market owns prominent investment opportunities because Egypt is considered a great gate to enter many markets especially the African and Arab ones.

 

 

The Brazilian side urged the Chamber to provide all required data and information for Brazilian investments to enter the Egyptian market and the chamber is always ready to communicate with foreign investors and provide them with all information about available investments opportunities.

 

 

Shoukry added that this visit should be a start for deepening mutual commercial ties between Egypt and Brazil through enhancing trade relations between Egyptian business organisations and societies and their Brazilian counterparts.

 

 

Sameh Zaki said that establishing joint economic and trade entities between Egypt's businessmen and Brazil would participate in enhancing the integration between two states.

 

 

Sameh Zaky, Cairo Chamber ‘s board member said that due to  friendship and strong relations between Egypt and Brazil, Cairo Chamber seeks to strengthen and develop economic relations to boost the export and import, and find ways of joint cooperation to serve the businessmen in Egypt and Brazil.

 

 

 

He added that the two governments, business organizations working to pave the way for business and remove the obstacles they face, in order to promote peoples' lives for the better standard of living, pointing out that this meeting aims to contribute in opening new and multiple horizons in the Egyptian and Brazilian markets and exchanging goods and products between the two countries.

 

 

 

He pointed out that the Chamber is working hard to support this thought as the largest Egyptian commercial institutions, in terms of the number of its members and the size of its business.

 

 

 

On other side, the head of the mission clarified that the purpose of the visit is to boost economic cooperation between Egypt and Brazil besides discussing challenges and available investment opportunities in Egypt. Additionally, the visit aims at promoting Brazilian products in order to increase exports volume.
