Cairo hosted a meeting of the session No. 124 of the Council of the Union of
Arab Chambers with the participation of delegations of 20 Arab countries to
discuss investment opportunities and the meeting attended by Sheikh Saleh
Kamel, head of the Islamic chamber of industry, agriculture and trade,
the membership of which includes 59 countries.
Ahmed Al-Wakil, chairman of the Federation of Egyptian Chambers confirmed
that the holding the meeting in Cairo confirms the confidence of the Arab
brothers to support the steps of the Egyptian economic reform and
the investment climate for attracting more promising Arab investments.
AlWakil pointed out that the Federation of Egyptian Chambers are careful to
coincide these meetings with the opening of the fiftieth session of Cairo
International Fair to be attended by Arab presence in this economic event where
the eyes of international and Arab countries have turned to the exhibition as
an indication of the security and economic stability and for attracting more Arab
and foreign investments.
