Chairman of the Federation of Chambers: the need to secure facilities in the industrial cities by the armed forces and police

Ahmad AlWakeel - The President of the General Federation of Chambers of Commerce- demanded

 

from government and the Ministries of  Defense and Interior that they should secure all roads leading

 

to investment and industrial cities, factories and companies against the practices carried out by

 

terrorist and extremist groups. Especially  in the provinces and cities experiencing an increase

 

in the number of marches, demonstrations and sit-ins  , Such as the governorates of Cairo,

 

Giza, Alexandria, Suez,Ismailia, North and South Sinai, the Red Sea, Minya and Assiut.  Also the law

 

and deterrent measures must be applied on saboteurs to ensure continuity of work and production.

 

 Adel Nasser-secretary general of the general federation – said that were starting to receive

 

requests from companies and traders, who willing to transport goods and commodities during

 

curfew in many governorates because of current political events .all these measures To reduce

 

the Overstock of goods and products in ports and storehouses, and to facilitate translating them to

 

the governorates.

 

 

 

Nasser added that It was decided to establish committees at Chambers of Commerce For accounting

 

the shops and activities that were damaged due to acts of terrorism and sabotage and accounting

 

inventory losses incurred, So can be compensated for, and to help them to return to work. , and there will

 

be a study for compensating them through the Chambers of Commerce in coordination with the Ministry

 

of Finance and rules and standards for paying such compensation will be set.
