Dr. Sherif Farouk, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade, has announced the launch of the main "Ahlan Madaris" exhibition, which will take place in Cairo from September 5th to 20th. The event will be held in the hall of the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority, located in Nasr City.

The announcement was made during Dr. Farouk's visit to the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, where he met with the Chamber's Board of Directors and members representing various commercial sectors, as well as with exhibitors participating in the "Ahlan Madaris" exhibition.

The primary objective of this exhibition is to alleviate the financial burden on Egyptian families by offering school supplies and essential goods at reduced prices. The event will feature participation from major companies in both the private and public sectors.

Dr. Farouk emphasized the importance of collaboration between the Ministry of Supply and commercial chambers in organizing seasonal commodity exhibitions. He commended the ongoing efforts and coordination to ensure the success of these exhibitions nationwide.

Mr. Ayman Ashry, Chairman of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, expressed his gratitude to the Egyptian state, particularly to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, for their support in organizing the "Ahlan Madaris" exhibition. He highlighted the social importance of this event, stating that it provides a vital community service by offering high-quality goods at special prices in a single location, thereby easing the financial burden on citizens as the new school year approaches.

Mr. Ashry also extended his thanks to Dr. Sherif Farouk and his delegation for their commitment to visiting the Cairo Chamber of Commerce and holding a meeting with its members and exhibitors just days before the exhibition's opening.

He affirmed that the continued cooperation with the Ministry of Supply would contribute to achieving sustainable development goals and help regulate the market in the coming phase.

The exhibition will offer a wide range of school supplies and tools, including clothing, shoes, school bags, uniforms, notebooks, pens, and other educational materials, all at reduced prices. In addition to these items, essential food products and electronic tools will also be available.

This year, the exhibition will feature new services, such as the participation of the National Postal Authority, which will offer its services alongside mobile companies and financial solutions providers, all under the supervision of the Consumer Protection Agency.
