Monthly Report for the month of August by Cairo Chamber of Commerce revealed Clear recovery in

compared to last year's prices as a result of the increase in the price of yarn, dyeing, energy, and

 

Workers. Stressing that the discount granted on garments during the period of the sale reached

 

the average percentage reduction in sector 17, 6%.  the discount ratio is the highest in

 

the children's clothing with an average 21%, Followed by women's clothing by 19%, and in

 

the end men's clothing sector with an average discount of 12%. As demonstrated in the report that

 

the market for shoes and leather products witnessed an increase in prices ranging from 25% to 45%

 

compared to last year,and Selling prices of the products varied, whether domestic or imported,

 

as well as between different sales regions, In addition to local products compete with Chinese ones with

 

 cheap price. Also in the report was monitored the discount rates granted on shoes and leather products

 

amounted 10.1% for shoes, while leather products recorded 14.4%.
