Cairo Chamber :Increasing the supply of goods for "Ramadan"

The Food Division of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce announced that the commodity prices are stable because of the availability of supply in the market with a relatively recession during the current period.

 

This came during the meeting of the Division yesterday, chaired by Eng. Ibrahim El-Araby, Vice-Chairman of the General Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce and Chairman of the Cairo Chamber to discuss the market situation and the availability of various commodities in early preparations for the holy month of Ramadan .

 

El-Araby discussed in the first meeting of the Division after the restructuring of its board of directors last week the availability of goods in light of the early readiness for the holy month of Ramadan and study the state of the market especially taking care of any expansion in demand to keep up the price balance.

 

The Chairman of the Chamber noted that monitoring prices on the market on a daily basis is important, which is an important role for the Division as a representative of this sector.  For his part, Amr Hamed, head of the Food Division said” There is a relatively stagnation in sales as it did not exceed the 60% barrier of the target and expected stability during the coming period.
