Arab investments in Egypt are on the rise

In the  light of the State's efforts to boost investment and maximize the Egyptian economy, Egypt has become a destination for Arab countries to pump their investments to benefit the Egyptian and Arab sides.

 

Shaikh Qais Mohammed Bin Yousif, Chairman of Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, affirmed that the recent visit of President Abdul Fattah Al-Sisi to the Sultanate of Oman will enhance the economic relations between the two countries, stressing the keenness of Omani businessmen to inject more investments into the Egyptian market. This came during a joint meeting between the Egyptian Chambers of Commerce and Industry and members of the delegation of the Sultanate of Oman that is currently visiting Cairo.

 

 

Egypt has signed an agreement to establish a Coordinating Council for investment Cooperation between the two countries during meetings of the Arab funds in the Dead Sea in Jordan ,the agreement was signed by Dr. Sahar Nasr, Minister of Investment and International cooperation, and the Jordanian Minister of State for investment, Mohanad Shehada Chairman of the Jordanian Investment Authority, with the aim of promoting bilateral investment relations and developing mutual cooperation between the Ministry of Investment and Cooperation international in the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Ministry of Investment of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, in an effort to establish an efficient and effective regulatory framework to promote investments Bilateral exchange of relevant information on investors involved and investment initiatives, which could achieve the mutual economic objectives of the two countries.

 

 

In a related context, Jamal Seif Al-Jarwan, Secretary General of the Emirates Council for Investors Abroad, said that the Council has adopted the Arab Republic of Egypt as the most important investment destination for UAE investors in the coming stage as one of the best investment environments in the world for UAE investments currently. This will contribute to the flow of UAE investments to Egypt during the next phase.

 

 

 

Ahmed Abdul Razek, Chairman of the General Authority for Industrial Development, said that the annual investment forum 2018 in Dubai came out with a number of positive results that are in the interest of the Egyptian economy, headed by the Secretary General of the Emirates Council for Investors Abroad, stressing that Egypt is witnessing a great investment momentum especially In light of efforts exerted by the Egyptian government to stimulate foreign investors, create an attractive investment environment and develop real solutions to the problems facing investors.
