Increasing trade exchange with Cyprus

Eng. Tarek Kabil Minister of Industry and Foreign Trade said that the trade exchange with Cyprus rose by 43%, standing at 180 million Euros. The volume of trade with Greece reached 400 million Euros, noting that there are investment opportunities whether governmental or private and there are discussions for exporting Cypriot gas to Egypt.

 

In previous statements during the Egyptian-Greek Business Forum held on Tuesday morning the Minister of Industry, pointed out that the Suez Canal axis is important to Cyprus, which especially has the tenth fleet in the world and there had been negotiations in this regard.

 

He said that the ministry aims at providing commercial facilities for all, creating a business environment, especially Egypt has its well-developed market, location, and skilled-labor at suitable wages.
