(Central Bank) abolished monetary insurance on importing food commodities

The Central Bank issued a decision to abolish monetary insurance on importing staple food commodities for trade purposes on behalf of commercial companies or governmental agencies and is carried out by micro, small and medium enterprises.

 

 

It also allowed importing all types of goods according to documentary collection received directly not by banks.

 

 

Gamal Najm, Deputy Governor of the Central Bank, said that it was decided to abolish the monetary insurance on importing only the staple food commodities to facilitate import procedures for small, medium and small companies and enterprises.
