The markets are preparing to receive the holy month of Ramadan amid expectations of a slight rise in prices during the first two weeks of the month due to Ramadan banquets

 

 

Ibrahim El-Araby, Chairman of Cairo Chamber, said that this year will witness several exhibitions in Ramadan, including Ramadan Karim organized by Cairo Chamber and "Ahlan Ramadan", which will provide goods at discounted prices, indicating the availability of all strategic goods at reduced prices and increase the supply of goods. There is cooperation between public and private sector companies to contribute to the arrival of goods at affordable prices to the consumer, and he stressed that it is expected to stabilize prices of food commodities during the month of Ramadan.

 

 

 

The Chamber's vice president, Ali Shoukry, pointed out that the rate of reductions in the prices of goods offered during the holy month will range from 20% to 30% according to the types provided, explaining that the exhibitions will last for 20 days.Bottom of Form

 

 

Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Sayed, head of the poultry division in Cairo Chamber, said that there are expectations of higher prices of poultry with the beginning of Ramadan but it will return to normal rate during the second week of the month.
