25% Decline in leather sacrifices prices this year

MR. Mamdouh Thabet Mekky Chief of the Division of tanneries in Cairo Chamber of commerce revealed

That the prices of live sheep and veal increased, which has a negative impact on the number of

Sacrifices this year, decreased by 25% compared to the previous year.

 

He said that this the lack of demand for purchase rising up their leather to 30% to be 55 pounds instead

of 40 pounds last year.

Mr. Mekky explained that the demand this year has seen growing on buying veal based on participating

system among a group of individuals in one veal which led to a lack of lamb leather this year.
