The Board of Directors of the Financial Regulatory Authority, headed by Dr. Mohammed Omran, reviewed the final version of the National Strategy for Non-bank Financial Services which aims at increasing the non-bank financial services sector in the national economy.

Dr. Mohammed Omran said that the Board of Directors discussed the strategy on achieving financial coverage and increasing the non-banking financial sector in business finance, including small, medium and micro enterprises.

He added that the Authority will focus on increasing funding, disclosure, transparency and fighting corruption in the coming period.

He explained that the Board of Directors discussed the strategy objectives, and agreed to give its members more time to express the final opinion in the strategy to be presented and announced during the next meeting of the Board in coordination with the relevant agencies.
