60 American companies visit Egypt to discuss investment opportunities next October

Minister of Trade and Industry Eng. Amr Nassar announced that a delegation of major US companies will visit Cairo at the end of next October to identify the huge investment opportunities available in the Egyptian market in various productive sectors. The visit, organized by the American Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with the Egyptian American Business Council, that Responsible for more than 60 American companies.

 

 

The minister said in a statement that the close relations between Egypt and the United States are the main focus for further economic and trade cooperation between the two countries during the coming period. He pointed to the importance of activating the role of business organizations in both countries to facilitate the flow of bilateral trade and joint investments.

 

 

The meeting was attended by Ambassador Magda Shahin, Advisor to the Minister for International Relations, Ahmed Antar, Head of the Commercial Representation Authority and Dr. Ashraf Al-Rubaie, Head of the Qualified Industrial Zones Unit.

 

 

The minister pointed out that the meeting dealt with a number of important issues between the Egyptian and US sides, including the importance of completing the discussions related to the TIFA agreement, which will facilitate the trade and investment movement between the two countries, pointing to the government's keenness to provide all forms of support to investors and industrialists whether Egyptian or foreign, To achieve a real industrial and investment renaissance in Egypt.
