President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi inaugurated a number of national projects in the governorate of Beni Suef on Wednesday and in the fields of industrial development.

Mr. Ahmed Al Zeini, the member of the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Commerce and Head of Building Materials Division, was invited to attend the opening ceremony.

El Sisi opened a large industrial complex in Beni Suef, which includes three major factories producing 20% of Egypt's cement production.

The Beni Suef project provides up to 1,800 direct jobs and around 8,000 indirect ones, he indicated.

The cement plant is one of the largest factories in the world; it is a one-phase factory and the first one of its kind to be environmentally friendly.

 The factory has 6 production lines, which the production line reaches about 6,000 tons of cement per day, with a total of 13 million tons annually.
