26 billion dollars trade exchange volume between Egypt and the EU

The Minister of Trade and Industry, Amr Nassar, said that the volume of trade exchange between Egypt and the European Union amounted to 26.02 billion dollars last year, and reached 13.4 billion dollars during the first half of this year.

 

He also highlighted the importance of enhancing joint investment cooperation between Egypt and the European for exporting to regional and global markets, noting that the European Union is Egypt's largest trading partner and the largest investor in the Egyptian market.

 

He pointed out that the most important items of trade exchange between Egypt and the European Union included furniture, medical industries, leather, leather products, agricultural crops, engineering and electronic goods, food industries, yarns, textiles, books, artworks, furniture, ready-made garments, chemical products, fertilizers, building materials and handicrafts.
