Major General Ismael Jaber, Chairman of the General Organization for Export and Import Control announced that the National Council for Accreditation (EGAC) accredited the microbiological laboratories to conduct genetically modified food (GMO) detection tests. 

 

 

He pointed out that the microbiological laboratories in the Authority are ready to receive food samples of all kinds (grains, water) for the tests previously approved by (RT-PCR) and deliver the results within 48 hours of receipt.
