The Minister of Investment met 11 Ukrainian companies’ representatives.

Dr. Sahar Nasr, Minister of Investment and International Cooperation, held a meeting with 11 Ukrainian companies on the sidelines of the joint Egyptian-Ukrainian committee held in Kiev.

 

 

The minister stressed that the Egyptian-Ukrainian relations are based on solid historical foundations with a growing and in-depth strategic partnership, pointing out the importance of boosting economic cooperation between the two countries in various fields.

 

 

She said that the Egyptian government has implemented a comprehensive economic reform program, and is continuing reforms to increase growth and improve the investment environment to be more attractive to investors.

 

 

She also referred to the importance of the private sector role in the economic development and development process. Accordingly, policies have been implemented to provide an attractive and competitive business environment, an incentive framework for investment, in addition to Legislating of laws to overcome obstacle facing private sector in the past, and elaborating of a comprehensive investment map covering all economic sectors.

 

 

The minister called on the Ukrainian companies to work for increasing economic and investment cooperation between the two countries and establishing a joint manufacturing between them, which will export to the markets of Eastern Europe, Arab and African markets.
