The volume of trade exchange between Egypt and Morocco reaches 700 million dollars

Cairo Chamber of Commerce received on Saturday a delegation from the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services in Fez Meknes, Kingdom of Morocco, under the chairmanship of Abdulla Abdellawy, Vice-President of the chamber to discuss new ways of increasing bilateral relations between Egypt and Morocco.

 

 

Ali Shoukry, deputy chairman of Cairo Chamber, said during the meeting that the protocol aspect between the two countries should be transformed into a real business for the benefit of their economies. He called for businessmen to start a real cooperation between the two countries on all levels.

 

 

Shoukry noted that Egypt has a lot of investment opportunities currently available to the Moroccan side, pointing out that Cairo Chamber puts all its resources in front of the Moroccan side and provides all the data and information needed by the Moroccan businessmen to enter the Egyptian market.

During the meeting, the cooperation between the two countries was highlighted. The most important of these is the volume of trade exchange between Egypt and Morocco, which amounts to 700 million dollars in 2016. Here are the main Egyptian exports to Morocco, namely plastic, aluminum, fuel, mineral glass, glassware, vegetables, fruits, nuts, perfumes, aromatic oils and cosmetics. Ceramics, paper and oilseeds.
