Egypt to host the world SME forum

Minister of Trade and Industry Eng. Amr Nassar said that Egypt is going to host the activities of international small and medium-sized enterprises forum with 52 countries participating in June next year, where these types of projects are the main pillar in promoting the economic growth of all countries in the world.

 

 

He added that developing SMEs projects have a top priority for the Egyptian government, which is reflected in launching the Central Bank's initiative to fund these projects and establishing the Social Fund for Development (Egypt).

 

 

He pointed out that holding the world SME forum in Egypt for the first time reflects the keenness of the Egyptian government to upgrade these projects.

 

 

On his part, Ahmed Osman, Chairman of the International Council for Small Enterprises, said that the Council is the oldest organization in the world concerned with small industries and entrepreneurship since its founding, and owns more than 56 branches of the Council in all countries of the world.
