The fourth Egyptian-Lebanese Business Forum

The Egyptian-Lebanese Businessmen Association, headed by Eng. Fathallah Fawzi, announced that the fourth Egyptian-Lebanese Business Forum was held in Beirut on November 22nd under the patronage of the Prime Minister of Lebanon Saad Hariri, and with the attendance of 300 businessmen from the two countries.

 

 

Eng. Ahmed El Sewedy, Chairman of the Egyptian-Lebanese Business Council, said that the Lebanese investments are growing significantly in Egypt, while Eng. Fathallah, Chairman of the Egyptian Lebanese Businessmen Association, asserted that the Lebanese investments in Egypt are 1400 projects, adding that Lebanon is the fourth largest Arab investor in Egypt with a total of 4 billion dollars.

 

 

Fuad Hadarj, vice chairman of the Egyptian Lebanese Businessmen Association, said that the Egyptian and Lebanese business community is looking forward to implementing the government's goals of increasing growth to 8% and reducing unemployment to 9.9% by 2021.

 

 

Raouf Abu Zaki, Chief Executive Officer of Al-Iktissad Wal-Aamal Group, which participated in organizing the forum, said that the forum contributed to developing and deepening the economic relations between the two countries either at the level of the government or at the private sector.
