Romanian Ambassador to Cairo Mihai Stephan Stobaro announced that three Romanian economic delegations will visit Egypt during the first half of 2019 which include companies operating in energy, oil and gas, food, beverage, water and waste management.

He added that the visit, which is currently being prepared, comes within the framework of the rotating Romanian presidency of the European Union, which starts from next January for six months.

He also pointed out that the third session of the Egyptian-Romanian Joint Economic Committee is scheduled to be held in Cairo in the first half of next year to discuss enhancing the cooperation and new mechanisms to attract investments in both countries, explaining that the previous session of the committee was held in Bucharest in June 2017.
