A plan for increasing trade with Morocco and the robust presence in Africa

Mohamed Adel Hosny, Chairman of the Egyptian-Moroccan Businessmen Association, has unveiled a strategic plan to increase trade volume between Egypt and Morocco from 700 million dollars to 3 billion dollars in three years. He pointed out that the association works in coordination with the Commercial Representation Office and the Egyptian Embassy in Morocco to support the joint commercial and investment communication and integration between the two countries, pointing out to organize business trips for the delegation of Egyptian businessmen to the industrial cities of Morocco next year, focusing on the potential in the Moroccan and Egyptian economy to open opportunities for both sides. In addition to holding a series of meetings to develop new mechanisms aimed at achieving a qualitative leap in the economic and trade cooperation and boosting joint investments between the two countries.

 

 

Hosny stressed the importance of the government to continue its unprecedented interest in Africa and to encourage joint investment in infrastructure and development of logistics services as a strategic focus to benefit from the Egyptian-African relations in the growth of trade volume and attract foreign investments. He called for the government's interest in transferring technology and exchanging experience in capacity building in different fields of transport. Logistics, specifications, quality, trade negotiations and enhancing the role of trade representation in Africa.
