Nevin Gamea , the chief executive of SMSE development said during the symposium organized by the Egyptian-Canadian-Egyptian Business Council for European Cooperation that SMSE will soon issue the first national strategy And a law on small enterprises to develop the sector and increase its contribution in the Egyptian economy . She added that the strategy includes 6 axes, namely , Sector-structured infrastructure, Availability of concessional funding, Providing business development services and export development, facilitating the speed of proceedings and The mechanization.

 

She confirmed that the new law for small projects will provide incentives for the convenience of the financing of the informal sector and turning it to the formal sector and to facilitate access to loans for small-scale entrepreneurs who do not own land the special law also includes small projects a clear and The Small Projects Law also contains a clear and specific definition of the small project.

 

She pointed out that 42 billion pounds have been pumped from the Social Fund for the development of small enterprises since its establishment in 1991until now. She stressed that the Fund is committed to repay loan installments to the international institutions and donors that deal with them, which number up to 18 parties.
