Within the framework of the Customs authority's plan to tighten control over all customs outlets and reduce customs evasion, a database of all exporters and importers has been completed throughout the republic; however it is to be updated periodically, With the aim of linking the outlets electronically for early release through customs outlets, and reduce the price of goods entered the Egyptian markets. 

The Authority’s statement stated that the electronic link at all outlets will limit any illegal shipments, confirming that recurring irregularities by importers making the Customs Authority to prepare a list of the data and names of the companies and all the evaders issued against them final judgments to put these names into consideration beforehand before exiting the airports or releasing goods from all customs outlets taking into account the speed of release of the goods. 

The statement pointed out that these measures are aimed at preventing any new attempts to evade paying the state’s right or Import prohibited goods through illegal means.

 He pointed out that the X-ray devices played a large role in controlling many cases of customs evasion; it also contributed to increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of currently customs measures and raising the technical capacities of the Authority’s employees to achieve the highest performance rates in addition to rapid releasing goods to reach international standards.
