The Egyptian- French meeting witnessed talks on a number of issues related to the bilateral relations and ways of maximizing partnership between both countries, especially in the sectors of health, renewable energy, transportation and logistics.

The meeting also discussed the possibility of boosting the platform of a partnership between France and the African continent under the patronage of the expected Egyptian presidency of the African Union by exploring opportunities for tripartite cooperation.

In his recent meeting with the French Minister of Economy and Finance, Al-Sisi stressed the necessity of supporting the file of economic and trade cooperation between Egypt and France for boosting the volume of French investments in the Egyptian market, especially in light of the positive results of the comprehensive economic reform program implemented by Egypt.

In addition to the extensive Egyptian market, which represents the launch for French exports to the various markets in the region under the free trade agreements, Egypt has huge investment opportunities for the French business sector in Egyptian national projects such as the development of the Suez Canal axis and the new cities being built throughout the Republic.
